UPCOMING INDEPENDENT HORROR FILM “PANIC” APPOINTS J. DAN MOORES AS FIRST ASSISTANT DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER; WILL LEAD SCRIPT REWRITE, PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT, AND CAST RELATIONS
MINNEAPOLIS, MN - June 11th, 2014 - “Panic” the Minnesota based independent horror film from producers Jason Riesgraf, Stephanie Riesgraf, and Mike Ascher, today announced that J. Dan Moores has agreed to volunteer his creative services on a permanent basis. He will hold the titles of producer, co-production manager, script supervisor, and 1st assistant director. He will be responsible for set management, performance direction, character development, continuity, and cast relations.
With the addition of J. Dan to the production team, current assistant director Mike Ascher, has been promoted to the role of director of photography. He will continue to serve as producer.
J. Dan will work closely with writer and director, Jason Riesgraf on rewriting the film’s script prior to principal photography.
Previously, J. Dan had been serving on a temporary basis as casting director and unofficial creative consultant.

Open auditions were held for “Panic” at the Mixed Blood Theatre in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis on May 31, June 1, and June 8. Casting is currently being finalized, with official casting announcements coming soon.
