UPCOMING INDEPENDENT HORROR FILM “PANIC” TO HOLD OPEN CASTING CALL AT MIXED BLOOD THEATRE IN MINNEAPOLIS
ALSO ANNOUNCES J. DAN MOORES AND TIFFANY SHAW TO HELP WITH CASTING
MINNEAPOLIS, MN - May 12th, 2014 - “Panic” is the upcoming debut feature film from accomplished Hispanic television producer and post production specialist Jason Riesgraf. The Minnesota based film is being independently produced by Jason Riesgraf, Stephanie Riesgraf, and Mike Ascher.
Today, the producers of “Panic” announced an open casting call for public auditions on May 31, June 1, and June 8 at the Mixed Blood Theatre in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis.
“I am remarkably excited to start this audition process. I have a distinct vision for my characters and I can’t wait to meet their real life counterparts,” says the film’s director and producer Jason Riesgraf.
The producers also announced that J. Dan Moores, a Twin Cities based business consultant and former literary agent, has volunteered his services as casting director on a temporary basis. J. Dan will partner with producer Stephanie Riesgraf on the casting process. “I’ve known J. Dan for many years and look forward to collaborating with him on these casting sessions. His observational skills and knowledge of the human condition are unparalleled.”
In addition, Tiffany Shaw has volunteered for the roles of casting assistant and production coordinator for the film. Jason Riesgraf noted, “Tiffany Shaw is an accomplished pageant coordinator, former actress/model, and community leader. Her skills will be invaluable during the audition process, but also during production. I’m so thankful that she’s agreed to lend her talents to our team as production coordinator.”
Written and directed by Jason Riesgraf, produced by Jason Riesgraf, Stephanie Riesgraf, and Mike Ascher, “Panic” is currently in pre-production and is set to commence principal photography upon casting completion. “Panic” is proudly and exclusively produced in Minnesota.
