UPCOMING INDEPENDENT HORROR FILM “PANIC” LAUNCHES CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN ON INDIEGOGO
ALBERTVILLE, MN – February 17th, 2014 – Independent film producers, Jason Riesgraf and Stephanie Riesgraf today announced their upcoming independent horror film “Panic” has launched an initial crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, a popular crowd funding website for indie filmmakers.
The producers hope to begin principal photography by summer 2014.
“It has been a lifelong dream of mine to direct a feature film in the horror genre. I believe I have a story to tell. I’m asking friends, family, and strangers to help out in any way they can to help make this dream a reality,” said Jason Riesgraf, the film’s director.
Added Stephanie Riesgraf, the film’s producer, “I got tired of hearing Jason talk about how great it would be if he made a movie. We finally decided to take the plunge. We’re really excited for this crowd funding opportunity and are appreciative of any and all contributions.”
In addition to any funds derived from Indiegogo, Jason and Stephanie Riesgraf will be self financing the remaining differential in budget expectations.
Previously, Jason Riesgraf worked as a camera operator on the films “Monday Morning” and “Emma’s Revenge."
Written and directed by Jason Riesgraf, produced by Jason Riesgraf and Stephanie Riesgraf. “Panic” will be proudly and exclusively produced in Minnesota.
